Experience
FIRST SESSION FREE. I am a computational and systems biology researcher at the NIH/NIAID. I obtained a B.A. in Mathematics, with Honors and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While in school I did volunteer research for a Neurobiology lab for 8 months and spent 2+ years working in a Neurophysiology lab, where I studied single-neuron activity in the Hippocampus and visual system. I also started UCSC's first science magazine which featured articles and artwork about UCSC research. In regards to tutoring, I am dedicated to my student's progress. I am fully aware of what it is like to be a stressed out undergraduate living off of rice and beans. Furthermore, I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed by your coursework. To help take the edge off I offer my FIRST SESSION FREE. As I am interested in getting the most out of our sessions, I will act as if I am taking the course with you. I ask that you contact me before our session to update me on the material you are covering so I have adequate time to prepare.
